Our funds

At ESSSuper, we're proud to be the dedicated, not-for-profit super fund serving Victorian emergency services and state employees - just like you. 

Our funds are specific to a particular group of eligible members, but our Accumulation Plan and Income Streams are accessible to all ESSSuper members and their spouses (subject to eligibility requirements).

• Accumulation Plan Provides flexibility for increased insurance cover, additional contributions and you can remain a member if you change employers – it can accept employer (SG) contributions.
• Emergency services funds We’ve tailored your funds to recognise the important role our emergency services play in the community and ensure you are rewarded in retirement.
• State super funds You work hard for our community, so we work hard for your retirement. Understanding which fund you belong to is important to understand your benefit entitlement.
• Retirement Income Streams A Retirement Income Stream allows you to convert your lump sum superannuation benefits into a flexible income stream to suit your lifestyle in retirement.
• Spouse Accounts If you’re a member of any ESSSuper’s defined benefit funds, your spouse can open an Accumulation Plan or an Income Stream account today.
