Tax on after tax (non-concessional)
contributions
Contributions made from your after tax income are called
non-concessional contributions and include personal
contributions, spouse contributions and the Government
co-contribution.
You can only make non-concessional contributions if your total super balance is less than the general transfer balance cap ($1.6 million for 2018/19 financial year) at the beginning of the financial year.
